Simultaneous Truth and Performance Level Estimation Method for Evaluation of Target Contouring in Radiosurgery

Background/Aim: The problem of lack standardisation in target delineation and herewith the variability contours Gamma Knife radiosurgery is as severe linac-based radiotherapy general. first aim this study was to quantify contouring for a group five targets estimate their true-volume based on multiple delineations using Simultaneous Truth Performance Level Estimation (STAPLE) algorithm. second assess robustness STAPLE method assessment true-volume, with respect number available input. Patients Methods: A multicentre analysis cases performed. Twelve were provided each case by experienced planners Knife. To used input, sets randomly selected analysis. Results: high similarity observed between generated 50%-agreement volume when all 12 input (90-100%). Lower smaller (10-70%).
